인천서부교육지원청은 다문화가정·일반가정 학부모를 대상으로 ‘다문화가정 학부모 동아리’를 운영한다. ‘다문화가정 학부모 동아리’는 관내 초·중학교 다문화가정과 일반가정 학부모를 대상으로 구성하였으며 플라워 공예와 쿠킹클래스 중 선택해 11월까지 4회에서 6회까지 프로그램을 진행한다.
지난 12일 인천계산초등학교에서 실시한 프로그램에서는 15명의 다문화가정·일반가정 학부모가 함께 쿠키를 만들며 자연스럽게 정보를 공유하는 등 소통의 시간을 가졌다.
서부교육지원청 관계자는 “다문화가정 학부모에게는 체험을 통한 정서 함양과 사회 적응력을 키워주고, 일반가정 학부모에게는 문화적인 이질감을 해소하는 계기가 되길 바란다”고 말했다. (출처;인천교육청)
