인천광역시(시장 박남춘)는 코로나19로 침체된 지역 상권의 활성화를 위해 구내식당 휴무일을 확대한다고 밝혔다.
인천시는 그 동안 지역경제 활성화를 위해 매월 1회 구내식당을 휴무해 왔으나, 코로나19 장기화로 어려움을 겪고 있는 시청 주변 자영업자들을 위해 11월부터 매월 둘째․넷째 금요일에 구내식당을 운영하지 않기로 했다.
이응길 시 총무과장은 “시청에 근무하는 직원이 2,200여명으로 구내식당 휴무 시 주변 음식점 등의 어려움 해소에 도움이 될 것으로 기대한다”고 전했다.(출처;인천시청)
