휴원 기간중이라 하더라도 국공립 유치원은 교사 월급이 국가에서 지급이 되겠지만, 사립의 경우는 얘기가 다르다. 휴원기간중 학부모들로 부터 교육비를 받는다고 하면 학부모들로부터 반발이 예상되어지고, 교사들의 급여를 깎자니 교사들의 사기저하와 불만이 예상되어지기 때문이다.
